The National Gazette is the official publication of the Modern Whig Institute, a nonprofit, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) civic research and education foundation. Our mission is to present the Whig view of American life, politics and culture as well as offer our own distinct analysis of the issues of the day.

As firm believers in the power of community, we also encourage our members and subscribers to express their thoughts and opinions on our articles. So please do share whatever is on your mind, in the civil and tolerant manner Whigs traditionally embrace.
